Featuring musicians, poets, and a few clowns. This year Valentine tries to conduct a DIY chamber orchestra…featuring original compositions by local artists. The music is balanced by poetry and reflective movement. Over the years, the Valentine collage series imagines what can happen on stage when local artists connect and collaborate during the summer. This year’s collaborators include the Valentine Orchestra with by local artists:Joshua Backes guitar, Steve Peplin guitar, Neil Davis guitar/voice, Maggie Iken bass, Steve Zydek guitar, Wyatt Koelsch title, Lauren Finn harp, Axel Román inspiration, Max Levine inspiration and Dasha Kelly poetry. Chad Piechocki as Pig/Valentine/t sax Plus the young artists: Eli piano, Carter cello, Ethan violin, John vocals, Addie art/crystals, Charlie art/crystals, and Asher art/vocals. Special Thanks to Chris Stawski and McGranahan & Stawski, Ltd for sponsoring the show and Brian Rott for helping devise the theatre parts. And Rebecca Rossi for all the support over the years of this ongoing project…Loves! A group of musician-scientists are floating on a space barge testing how black holes change the sound of music. When their power crystals are stolen by space pirates, they're left to improvise how they will survive their being pulled into the great "Walentynka" black hole. Meanwhile Valentine is ensnared by an intergalactic-robot-pirate who calls him Pig…as he flies around hunting for bounty and treasure...like power crystals that could reignite the B.A.R.G.E What will Valentine do when he AND robot pirate dock on the B.A.R.G.E.? Will they survive? Walentynka will let them know...
